Maitreyee Chakraborty and Tagore, Me & You

The Joy of Rediscovering Tagore

November 2, 2025

3:00 - 7:00 PM

Step into an afternoon where poetry, music, dance, drama, and dialogue converge to celebrate the timeless genius of Rabindranath Tagore. This festival brings Tagore’s creations to life on stage through live songs, graceful dances, evocative short plays, powerful srutinataks (narrated dramas), and a thought-provoking panel discussion on Tagore’s continuing relevance.

For those who do not understand the language, every presentation will be super-titled, ensuring that the beauty, meaning, and philosophy of Tagore’s creations are accessible to all.

This is not just a performance, but a journey through Tagore’s world — where East meets West, tradition blends with modernity, and the performances create a bridge to the universal human spirit.
