Imagine walking in from the chill and feeling the beat pull you closer. This isn’t an ordinary night, it’s a samba-infused gathering of story, rhythm, and surprise. Former Boston Ballet soloist Irlan Silva brings the heart of Rio to The Jar. He’ll share his story, teach a few moves, and remind you that everyone can dance. Before long, you’ll be moving—with old friends, new friends, and strangers who might not stay strangers for long. No experience needed, just an open heart and a curious body. This will be winter’s warmest night.

The twist? You can only come if you bring a +1, two folks like you, and two folks not like you. Together, you’ll make the room buzz with warmth, laughter, and new connections. 

Venue Information:

The Multicultural Arts Center is located at 41 Second Street in Cambridge, MA. Please enter at the ground floor entrance and visit the Box Office on your right as you enter.

Once you check in, you will head upstairs to the theater. There is an elevator and staircase for access to the theater.

Seating is general admission. Box Office will open an hour before the show starts, so you are welcome to arrive early. Feel free to visit our gallery before the show begins.

The Multicultural Arts Center is located just a few blocks from the Green line Lechmere MBTA Station.

The East Cambridge Parking Garage is entered off Spring Street, between First & Second Streets, one block away from us, and open 24/7.
