Global Pulse

In honor of FIFA’s World Cup, Global Pulse is a diasporic celebration bringing together Afrobeats Boston alongside Haitian and Ghanaian performers for an evening of music, rhythm, and cultural exchange.

Samba & Latin Dance Party

A high-energy night of live music and dance rooted in Latin and Brazilian traditions featuring Receita de Samba & Friends. This festive evening invites audiences to move, celebrate, and experience the rhythms that connect cultures across the Americas.

The Summer Throwdown

September 4, 2026

6:00 - 8:00 PM

The Summer Series concludes with The Summer Throwdown, MC’ed by the legendary Megatron, a high-energy end-of-season celebration featuring DJs, live performances, and an electrifying dance battle. This event brings the community together one final time to close out the summer with music and movement.

The Summer Series is free and outdoors at Centanni Park, outside the Multicultural Arts Center at 41 Second St. Cambridge, MA.

Venue Information:

The Multicultural Arts Center is located at 41 Second Street in Cambridge, MA. Please enter at the ground floor entrance and visit the Box Office on your right as you enter.

Once you check in, you will head upstairs to the theater. There is an elevator and staircase for access to the theater.

Seating is general admission. Box Office will open an hour before the show starts, so you are welcome to arrive early. Feel free to visit our gallery before the show begins.

Getting There:

The Multicultural Arts Center is located just a few blocks from the Green line Lechmere MBTA Station.

The East Cambridge Parking Garage is entered off Spring Street, between First & Second Streets, one block away from us, and open 24/7.
