Multicultural Arts Center Presents

Waves: Rhythm and Motion

August 1, 2025

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Feel the heat, move your feet! Waves: Rhythm and Motion is a vibrant Caribbean and African celebration of music and movement. Join us for an unforgettable Friday night featuring Dis-N-Dat, six-time steel pan champions who blend Roots Reggae, Dancehall, R&B, and Trinidadian steel pan into a powerful, joyful sound.

Also taking the stage is FROCA Fitness, created by choreographer Sylver Rochelin, bringing high-energy African and Caribbean dance to life with rhythms from Madagascar, Jamaica, Nigeria, and beyond. This is more than a show—it’s a cultural workout, a party, and a celebration of rhythm and connection.

Come ready to celebrate! This year’s event is FREE and outdoors at Centanni Park, outside the Multicultural Arts Center at 41 Second St. Cambridge, MA.
